Help us build something real.
AstraHacks is our flagship student hackathon, a full day of building, workshops, and mentorship centered on one theme: healthcare.
Students come in as curious kids. They leave having built something that could actually help someone. That only happens because people like you choose to invest in them.
The Event
One day. One theme. Real solutions.
Teams of students are given a challenge framed around three healthcare tracks — Prevent, Detect, and Assist, and 10 hours to build a working prototype.
We kick off with guest speakers from the healthcare and tech industries who set the context for why this work matters. Then we get out of the way and let students build, with workshops woven throughout the day to teach skills in real time.
It ends with project demos, judging by industry professionals, and an awards ceremony that celebrates what students built from nothing in a single day. We also offer the top teams continued funding to keep going. The best projects shouldn't stop when the clock runs out.
Day Schedule
Where It Goes
Your sponsorship goes directly into the event.
No overhead fluff. Every dollar funds hardware, food, prizes, and the people who make AstraHacks worth attending.
Hardware Kits
Every team gets components to build with: microcontrollers, sensors, and more. No student gets left out because they couldn't afford the parts.
Prizes
A 3D printer for the overall winner, AirPods for second, and $750 in project funding for each track winner. Prizes that actually mean something to a student builder.
Catering
A full day of hacking means meals matter. Lunch, dinner, and snacks keep teams energized and focused on building.
Guest Speakers
We're bringing in healthcare professionals and industry veterans to speak, run Q&As, and connect directly with students.
Workshops
Hands-on learning sessions in MicroPython, computer vision, AI/ML basics, and component interfacing, taught throughout the build day.
The Experience
Venue, logistics, and everything in between. We want every student who walks in to feel like they belong in a room of builders.
Not a cash sponsor?
In-kind donations matter just as much.
Some of the most valuable contributions we receive aren't monetary. If you can offer a space, donate hardware, or provide something else that makes AstraHacks better. We want to hear from you.
Get in TouchVenue
A space that fits 50–100 students for a full-day event. Communitech-style environments work great.
Hacking Hardware
Microcontrollers, sensors, components, and dev boards. Anything students can build with on the day.
Prizes & Swag
Tech products, licenses, gift cards, or branded gear that students would genuinely want to win.
Food & Catering
Covering a meal or snack for the day directly offsets one of our biggest event costs.
Mentors & Judges
Industry professionals who can give feedback during the build and judge final demos.
Something Else
If you have something useful and want to contribute, just reach out. We're flexible.
Sponsorship Tiers
Choose your level of impact.
Every tier gets your name and brand in front of motivated student engineers. Higher tiers get direct access to the talent.
Sponsorship Tiers
